All the songs collected
on this page were recorded on a Gibson (Epiphone) six-string guitar
and/or a Takamine twelve-string guitar, with a simple PC microphone taped in the sound hole. That
method produces surprisingly good results.
The image you see here is quite old, from when Garrison, Peter, and I played for the variety show a few weeks before graduating high school.
If You Could Only See
An excellent song by Tonic. I figured out a way to kind of play the cool part with one guitar.
After I recorded this I listened to the original and I'm going way too fast and my strum pattern
isn't the same. Oh well.

Landslide
Fleetwood Mac/Smashing Pumpkins/Dixie Chicks song.. I play it more like The Smashing Pumpkins.
I was really recording this to experiment with multi-track recording, and in some places (especially
the beginning) I am not in sync with myself.
Recorded July, 2003
Galapogos
This is a two-track recording of the verse of Galapogos by The Smashing Pumpkins. I think it turned
out very pretty. I originally intended to record the whole song but never got around to it.
Recorded July, 2002
Mayonaise (entire song)
This is something else I never got around to finishing. It's the whole song, but just the rhythm
guitar part.
Recorded July, 2002
Mayonaise (outro)
Just the very end part of my favorite Smashing Pupmkins song.
